Seniors from the girls basketball, boys basketball, and basketball cheer teams were honored prior to the boys game last Saturday. They were escorted by their family and their respective coach.

Gideon Amissah (12) riles up the crowd with an emphatic dance as he is introduced on to the court. Each starter performed a unique handshake as their names were called on senior night.
Jonathan "JP" Powell (12) reaches up for a layup. The multi-sport athlete has left a remarkable impact on both the football and basketball programs in his time at CHS.
Cordell Jordan (12) leaps past two Cherokee defenders towards the basket, scoring more points for the Blue Devils. The senior plans to enlist and serve in the
United States Air Force following graduation.
Students, decked in black, fill the bleachers to support their seniors. Admission was free for all CHS students, and they showed up and showed out!

John Cady (12) embraces Mateo Jimenez (12) after the game. Senior night is a bittersweet night, but a win makes it much more sweet than bitter.
Jaquan Clark (11) celebrates with Charles Stone (12). Stone recently committed to play basketball for Kennesaw State University as a Preferred Walk-On.
