By: Jacob Sanford

Columbus High School has gained a new math teacher in the 2023-24 school year. Students are glad to welcome Mrs. Min Jiang to the CHS family.

Mrs. Jiang has been teaching math for seven years. Before coming to CHS, she taught at Double Churches Elementary School and Hardaway High School, both of which are here in Columbus.

Mrs. Jiang teaches both Advanced Algebra and Precalculus at CHS in room 214. The students she teaches consist mostly of juniors and seniors.

Mrs. Jiang got her college education from Pace University, a private 4-year university in New York City, and from Columbus State University.

She said that she loved everything about CHS so far. In her time here, she says she hopes to be helpful to the school.

Mrs. Jiang stated that teaching was "[her] dream career since [she] was a kid and it never changed."

In her free time at home, Mrs. Jiang enjoys traveling, cooking, and gardening.
